Let us introduce you to Country Music Star, Michael Harding. Michael stands 5'7" has brown hair and blue eyes. Michael is a member of the Country Music Association (Nashville, TN) and the Academy of Country Music (Burbank, CA). Both organizations have given him "Major Star Status". Michael is a veteran of the country music business. His first single he recorded and released was a record entitled, "You Win Again". It was #17 on the Independant Country Music Charts. He has also been awarded the People's Choice Award for being the first Country Music Artist to have 2 top 10 singles on the Internet Country Music Charts at the same time with his current CD, "I'll Be Gone". Michael was awarded the Country Music Entertainer of the Year Award by the Golden Music Awards in 2000. He was in the nomination for the New Male Vocalist Award in 2002 by the Academy of Country Music.
When he steps on stage, dressed in rhinestones, sequins and black leather pants, he becomes an unleashed powerhouse of energy, excitement and warmth. He can make you laugh or make you cry, but above all he will leave you wanting more! His performances are filled with fun and surprises that his fans have come to expect with great anticipation. He uses the entire stage as he dances to many of his songs. He interacts with the audience throughout and makes them feel a part of the show.
Michael has also become very popular with the Press as he does many Radio, Television, Magazine and Newspaper interviews. In September of 2004, Michael opened his own Country Music Jamboree. It is held as close to the First Saturday of every month as possible. Michael is very excited about this and hopes to see you there. His current CD, "I'll Be Gone" is receiving airplay on over 3,000 radio stations across the United States and he is also being played in 15 other countries, with a single called, "Get It From Me". The amount of response is staggering and growing daily.
Michael was also given a great honor in 2004 by being nominated by The Academy of Country Music for "Best New Vocalist of The Year for 2003". He made it through the first section of Balloting and lost by 2 votes in the 2nd.
